The Nauti Primary School Project was completed in May of 2020, with handover to the Teacher and Student cohort taking place soon after.

 

The Nauti School is currently servicing an 853 strong student cohort, with 42 teachers. The newly constructed Classroom Building & two Ablutions Blocks will assist in satisfying the school's growing needs.

 

In addition to servicing the educational needs of the students, the Classroom Building will serve as a shelter for the Funafuti and wider Tuvaluan community. Constructed to the highest standards and design, the building is capable of withstanding Category 5 Cyclones.

• New 800m2 two-storey Classroom Building, rated to withstand Category 5 Cyclones

 

• 12 Classrooms; each over 50m2

 

• 2 New Ablutions blocks; each with a dedicated septic system enabling natural filtration through a series of polishing chambers

 

• Sound insulated operable walls enabling the formation of an Assembly Hall

 

• Reconfigured rainwater collection and reticulation system to all New & Existing Buildings
